Danish Mirza Anantnag 30/12/2023:
In a proactive stride towards enhancing accessibility to government schemes in urban communities, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) commenced its urban expedition in Seer Hamdan, Anantnag. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between citizens and government initiatives, fostering positive change at the grassroots level.
The vibrant inaugural event at Town Hall Seer marked the commencement of the urban leg of VBSY, paving the way for a series of Jan Bhagidari events. These events, including “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” sessions and interactive engagements with beneficiaries, provide a direct platform for community involvement.
Today’s urban VBSY programs showcased various community-centered initiatives focused on promoting well-being among the masses. The Viksit Bharat Sanklap Yatra Camp facilitated on-the-spot connections to crucial schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, free health check-ups, Aadhaar card registration, and PM SVANidhi scheme registration. This ensures that beneficiaries have streamlined access to essential government services.
ACD Anantnag passionately emphasized the Yatra’s core objective – raising awareness about diverse government schemes and policies. Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi, concerted efforts are underway to transform the nation into a well-rounded and developed entity, ensuring citizens readily benefit from these schemes.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a nationwide initiative dedicated to enlightening and empowering citizens about Central Government’s flagship schemes, has already established profound connections among the masses in Anantnag District. With impactful sessions held in tribal districts and rural areas since November 25th, the Yatra stands as a testament to positive change, nurturing a progressive society.
