Continuing the nationwide initiative of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Smt. Punya Salila Srivastava, Additional Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), visited Dawar in Gurez, Bandipora District today. Accompanied by Shri Owais Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner of Bandipora, and various dignitaries, Smt. Srivastava engaged in a series of activities as part of this campaign.
The visit included showcasing different government schemes through stalls set up by various departments. Smt. Srivastava actively participated in cultural events and interacted with locals to gain insights into the challenges faced in this remote area.
Her visit aimed not just at evaluating the implementation progress but also at fostering greater participation and collecting firsthand feedback. This initiative operates with a ‘whole-of-Government’ approach, emphasizing the active involvement of State Governments, District authorities, Urban Local Bodies, and Gram Panchayats.
Themed under ‘Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat,’ the event highlighted the administration’s commitment to spreading awareness and ensuring accessibility to government schemes, aligning with the collective vision for a developed India.
