Sumbal – In a heartwarming display of unity, a Felicitation and Thanksgiving Ceremony was held in Ajas camp where the bond between the local residents and the Indian Army took center stage.
The event, organized to acknowledge the support of the locals towards the Army, witnessed active participation from villagers, community leaders, and military personnel. The occasion not only celebrated their mutual cooperation but also emphasized the deep-rooted trust and collaboration that has flourished over the years.
Speaking on the occasion, the, commander of 3 Sect, Brigadier Vipul Tyagi praised the people of SK Payen and adjoining areas for their unwavering support in ensuring peace and development in the area. “This bond between the Awam (people) and the Army is a shining example of how harmony and mutual respect can lead to lasting progress,” he remarked.
The villagers expressed their gratitude towards the Army for their consistent efforts in community welfare, including infrastructure development, medical camps, and educational initiatives. Local leader Bashir Ahmad said, “The Army has always stood with us, whether it is during times of need or for development. This event is our way of thanking them for their dedication.”
