Hajin: Work at the Municipal Committee (MC) in Hajin have slowed to a crawl as the town faces a critical shortage of administrative oversight due to the absence of a dedicated Executive Officer.
This vacancy has left residents struggling with delays for even the most basic municipal services, with some waiting days for work that would typically take hours.

Currently, the Executive Officer for Hajin is also managing two other municipal offices, leading to an overloaded schedule that disrupts the seamless functioning of the MC. Community members and leaders alike are voicing concerns over how this lack of dedicated leadership is impacting the town’s smooth operations.

Imtyaz Parray has called on the Director of Urban Local Bodies (ULB) to expedite the appointment of a full-time Executive Officer for MC Hajin. “We urge the LG Administration to prioritize this critical position for the sake of Hajin’s residents,” Parray stated. “This historical town is facing numerous issues due to the absence of a full-time Executive Officer, and it is imperative for the welfare of the community that this post be filled promptly.”
