Srinagar, (BuzzBytes): Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh on Tuesday said that comprehensive arrangements have been put in place for the smooth and successful conduct of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026, with special focus on security and pilgrim convenience.
Speaking to reporters in Srinagar, the minister said the administration, security agencies and other departments have worked in close coordination to ensure all necessary preparations are completed ahead of the annual pilgrimage.
He noted that this year’s Yatra will be of a longer duration, making meticulous planning and coordination even more important.
“Special attention has been given to security and logistical arrangements to ensure a safe, secure and hassle-free pilgrimage for devotees,” Singh said.
The Union Minister expressed confidence that all measures taken by the administration would contribute to the successful conduct of the Yatra and provide a comfortable experience for pilgrims visiting the holy cave shrine.
He added that concerned agencies remain fully prepared to facilitate devotees throughout the pilgrimage period and ensure smooth movement, safety and essential services along the Yatra route.
The Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra is scheduled to commence next month amid heightened security and extensive administrative arrangements.
