Ramgarh: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leaders marked the Lohri festival with religious fervor and enthusiasm at a ‘Lohri Milan Samaroh’ organized by J&K BJP Kissan Morcha President & DDC Sardar Sarbjit Singh Johal in Karalian of Ramgarh. The event saw J&K BJP General Secretary (organization) Ashok Koul as the chief guest, along with former BJP State President & former Minister Sat Sharma, BJP Vice-President & former Minister Surjit Singh Salathia, and others in attendance.Ashok Koul extended wishes to the nation, emphasizing the festival’s significance. He prayed for universal brotherhood, peace, and social harmony, urging everyone to contribute to the nation’s progress. Sat Sharma highlighted the impact of Hindu festivals on our lives, teaching the value of struggle without compromising principles. Surjit Singh Salathia expressed joy in celebrating festivals in a cordial atmosphere amid returning peace.Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal emphasized the lessons of universal co-existence, tolerance, and respect for other faiths embedded in our festivals. Chander Prakash Ganga extended wishes for a season filled with fortune for all, adding to the festive spirit.
