In an impactful one-day convention held at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee Bhawan in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, the Jammu and Kashmir BJP, under the leadership of State President Ravinder Raina, orchestrated a comprehensive strategy for the forthcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The convention saw the participation of key party figures, including BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, National Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, and other prominent leaders.

Tarun Chugh, addressing the convention, declared the party’s entry into election mode at every level. He emphasized the need for the party activists to work ardently to ensure a resounding victory. Chugh urged them to inform the public about the pre-Article 370 era’s shortcomings and expose the role of the families that contributed to the state’s uncertainty. Setting an ambitious target, he called for securing 51% of votes in future elections, stressing the importance of formulating an effective roadmap promptly.

State President Ravinder Raina, in his welcome address, drew inspiration from the recent victories in three states, instilling confidence among party activists and the public. He urged everyone to contribute towards achieving the party’s ambitious target of securing 400 seats in the 2024 elections. Raina highlighted the BJP’s commitment to sweeping the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Jammu and Kashmir, showcasing the party’s efforts to gain widespread support.

The convention covered various aspects, including Booth Jan Samvad programs, the effectiveness of the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ Abhiyaan, and the significance of direct interaction with the public at the grassroots level. Former MLA Devinder Rana presented a 16-point political resolution, capturing the party’s vision and policies, which was unanimously adopted after discussion.

Dr. Devinder Manyal conducted the proceedings and presented a detailed analysis using a Power Point Program, focusing on the party’s victory in three recent assembly elections.
