Pulwama:In a commendable effort to foster camaraderie and understanding, the CRPF’s 182 Bn organized a vibrant volleyball tournament, themed “MAITRI VOLLEY BALL TOURNAMENT,” at EidGah Gudoora near Kareemabad crossing in Gadoora, Pulwama.Six teams hailing from different villages within the area of responsibility of F/182 Bn, Kareemabad, actively participated in the tournament, contributing to a lively and competitive atmosphere. The primary objective of the event was to cultivate a friendly environment, fostering harmony and understanding among the general public, youth, and security forces.Commandant-182 Bn officially inaugurated the tournament, emphasizing the importance of community engagement and mutual understanding. The culmination of the event witnessed an intense final match between Rising Star Moghama and Volleyball Club Goosu Village, with Rising Star Moghama emerging as the deserving winner.All participating teams received recognition for their spirited performances, being awarded trophies and gift hampers. The winners, Rising Star Moghama, and the runner-up team were honored with trophies, showcasing the dedication and sportsmanship displayed throughout the tournament.The successful execution of the tournament was made possible through collaboration with the Youth Service and Sports Officer of Pulwama District, highlighting the significance of partnerships in promoting community-driven initiatives.Noteworthy attendees during the tournament included officers from 182 Bn, sports officials, school teachers, villagers, and the general public of Pulwama. The event not only entertained the spectators but also served as a platform to encourage building friendly relationships within the community.
