Baramulla:In a dedicated effort to ensure the effective implementation of the Holistic Agriculture Development Plan (HADP) in the district, District Development Commissioner Minga Sherpa led a comprehensive meeting of the District Level Committee at the conference hall of the DC office in Baramulla.Officers from various departments involved in the HADP, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Sericulture, and Fisheries, provided a detailed update on the current status of program registrations, departmental approvals, and project deployments.During the meeting, Minga Sherpa, who also serves as the Chairman of the District Implementation Committee (DLIC), granted approval to 1852 applications under HADP in favor of beneficiaries in the Baramulla district.Addressing the gathering, the DC emphasized that HADP represents a significant stride towards establishing a sustainable and profitable agricultural ecosystem. Minga Sherpa underscored the program’s goal of empowering farmers with knowledge and tools to enhance productivity, profitability, and contribute to the overall growth of the agriculture sector.The meeting witnessed the presence of Chief Planning Officer Javaid Ahmad, General Manager DIC, officers from Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, and other relevant departments, collectively working towards the successful execution of HADP initiatives in the region.
