Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary led a massive Block Diwas under Jan Abhiyan at Batote, providing a single-window platform for grievance redressal and emphasizing the importance of government-public interaction.

The event, attended by DDC Chairperson Dr. Shamshad Shan, DDC Members, PRIs, and district officers, aimed to address the genuine issues faced by residents at their doorsteps.

DC Chaudhary highlighted the significance of Block Diwas, ensuring that every citizen benefits from government welfare and developmental schemes. He urged proactive engagement with the administration for the district’s overall development.

PRIs raised various public interest issues, including Sub Division status for Batote, Bus Stand, provision of wood for construction, special horticulture plans, job opportunities, tourism activities, and more. The DC instructed district officers to resolve raised issues promptly.

Stalls by various departments were set up to inform people about schemes. Locals expressed satisfaction, appreciating the opportunity to voice grievances. The Health Department organized a Health Camp, providing services to attendees.

DC Chaudhary assured that genuine concerns would be addressed promptly, utilizing feedback for Batote’s development. The event concluded with participants pledging ‘Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat,’ emphasizing commitment to a developed India.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra campaign continued with vibrant participation in Panchayats, reflecting the community’s engagement in the development process.
