The District Administration Kulgam orchestrated a proactive approach to address public concerns with the organization of Mega Block Diwas in three key blocks of the district – Kund, Kulgam, and D. H. Pora. The event served as a platform for citizens to articulate their issues, grievances, and demands.
At the forefront of the grievances redressal camp in Block Kulgam was Mr. Showkat Ahmad Rather, the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam. Engaging directly with the public, he attentively listened to the concerns and demands of residents from Bhan, Khrevan, Manzgam, Modergam, and surrounding areas.
During the camp, officers and officials from various line departments were present to address the grievances raised by the public. Immediate actions were taken on certain urgent matters, providing swift solutions on the spot.
The event also featured a presentation on the actions taken in response to grievances raised during previous Block Diwas, showcasing the commitment of the District Administration to ensuring timely redressal.
Key attendees included ACD Mohammad Imran, ACP Sharjeel Ali, CEO, CMO, and other district and sectoral officers, reflecting a collaborative effort to strengthen community-government interaction and address concerns at the grassroots level.
