In line with the directives of SSP Kulgam, Shri Sahil Sarangal-IPS, Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meetings convened at *Police Station Manzgam*, *Police Station Yaripora*, *Police Post Mirbazar*, and *Police Post Frisal* to enhance Police-Public relations. Chaired by respective jurisdictional officers, these meetings saw the participation of esteemed citizens from Mirbazar, Malpora, Akhran, Manzgam, Kanjikullah, Badroo, Frisal, Chinigam, and neighboring areas.
Various issues of public importance, including the eradication of drug abuse, combatting food adulteration, addressing traffic jams, and resolving problems related to drinking water and electricity shortages, took center stage during the discussions. Chairing officers emphasized that such meetings aim to seek suggestions and support from the community for improved policing. Gratitude was extended to participants for their active involvement and valuable suggestions.
Speaking on the occasion, chairing officers reassured that the highlighted issues would be promptly addressed with the concerned authorities. They emphasized that the Police would extend legal support as necessary for the betterment of society.
Participants were urged to cooperate with Kulgam Police in maintaining law and order, while also identifying any anti-national and anti-social elements attempting to disrupt the peaceful environment. The PCPG meetings underscore the commitment of Kulgam Police to fostering collaborative efforts for a safer and more secure community.
