The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Baramulla, Zahoor Ahmad Raina, chaired a crucial meeting of the District Level Committee (DLC) to finalize the selection of beneficiaries for various activities under the Holistic Agriculture Development Plan (HADP). The meeting saw participation from officers representing Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Sericulture, and Fisheries departments.
Comprehensive updates were provided on the enrollment of beneficiaries under various schemes, including Poly Green House, High Tech Farming, Exotic Vegetable farming, Vermi Compost, Bee farming, and more. The meeting highlighted the meticulous vetting process undertaken to ensure deserving beneficiaries benefit from the schemes.
The ADC stressed the importance of a comprehensive vetting process and urged officers to make the onboarding process people-friendly. The meeting aimed at streamlining the selection process to ensure the effective implementation of HADP and its positive impact on the agricultural sector.
