Nesbal: A massive fire broke out in the Kondbal forest area of Ganderbal district on Monday evening.
Police, along with forest officials, actively engaged in firefighting operations to prevent further spread.
A senior police official confirmed the incident, stating that the fire had engulfed a large section of the forest compartment.
SHO Safapora, Gulzar Ahmad, personally monitored the situation on the ground and assured that all necessary efforts were made to extinguish the flames.
He confirmed that the blaze had been successfully brought under control.
Local residents have praised the swift response and tireless efforts of the SHO and his team in tackling the situation.
