In a significant religious event, former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta ceremoniously flagged off the 34th Varshik Vishva Shanti Dharam Yatra (Charri Mubarak Yatra) from Maa Bawe Wali Mandir to Maa Jwala Ji Mandir in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. This annual pilgrimage, organized under the supervision of Jagdish Sharma and Dr. Poonam Sharma, attracts thousands of devotees each year who participate with profound religious fervor.
The Jawala Mata Charri Yatra, a tradition upheld for the past 33 years, commences in Kishtwar and culminates at the Maa Jwala Ji Shrine in Himachal Pradesh.
The yatra received a warm welcome at Bajalta by Tarun Uppal, Chairman of the Nirbhay Bharat Foundation, where the foundation stone of the Maa Jwala Ji Temple has been laid. Kavinder Gupta performed an act of reverence at the Maa Bawe Wali Temple before commencing the yatra.
Hundreds of devotees joined the Charri Mubarak Yatra from Maa Bawe Wali Temple as it embarked on its spiritual journey to the Jwala Mata Temple in Kangra.
Expressing his sentiments, Kavinder Gupta expressed hope that the divine blessings garnered through the yatra would strengthen the bonds of amity, bringing peace and prosperity to the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
During interactions with participants, Kavinder Gupta emphasized the crucial role of religious events like the Charri Yatra in spreading messages of brotherhood and peace. He expressed his optimism that the pilgrimage would contribute to the happiness and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir, offering prayers for the betterment and welfare of the people.
Tarun Uppal echoed similar sentiments, expressing his aspiration for the pilgrimage to conclude smoothly and successfully. He urged the public to use religious events as platforms for promoting peace, brotherhood, and communal harmony, emphasizing the opportunity for devotees to seek spiritual comfort in a serene environment. Uppal concluded with the hope that the yatra would act as a harbinger of peace and tranquility among various segments of society.
