In a pioneering initiative, the Jammu and Kashmir Private Schools Federation (JKPSF) organized its first-ever Award Distribution Ceremony for private school teachers at the Town Hall in Magam. The event, held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, coincided with the celebration of National Education Day and aimed to recognize and encourage outstanding educators in the region.
The ceremony was presided over by the Chairman of JKPSF, accompanied by distinguished guests including the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Education Society (JKMES) and Senior Journalist Mr. Syed Mushtaq Sahib. The notable presence of key figures such as Mr. Haji Ali Mohammad Sahib, Mr. Mohammad Shafi Mir Sahib, Mr. Showkat Sahib, Mr. Raja Altaf Sahib, Mr. Fayaz Ahmad, and Mr. Mir Afzal Sir added significance to the occasion.
Among the attendees were the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) of Magam, Secretary of BUPSA Mr. Rouf Ahmad, President of BUPSA Mr. Tariq Sahib, and other school chairpersons and teachers. The event marked a historic milestone as JKPSF acknowledged and felicitated private school teachers for their outstanding contributions to the field of education.
Certificates of recognition were presented to teachers and Head of Institutions (HOIs), applauding their exemplary performance. The Media Cell of JKPSF was also honored for capturing and highlighting this unprecedented event.
Addressing the gathering, Chairman Mr. Syed Mushtaq Sahib emphasized the importance of annually recognizing and appreciating the efforts of the best teachers.
