- A mild Western disturbance is forecasted to approach from late this evening.
- Expect light rain/snow in parts of Jammu and Kashmir by late tonight or tomorrow morning.
- The first light snow of the season is likely in the plains of Kashmir, especially in south Kashmir. Moderate snow is anticipated in higher regions of South Kashmir and the Pir Panjal mountain range.
- Higher areas of South Kashmir, including Sinthan top and Peer ki Gali, might witness 3-6 inches of snow tomorrow morning.
- Light snowfall is also predicted for Gulmarg, Sonamarg, and Doodhpatri.
- This wet spell will last less than 24 hours, starting from 11 p.m. tonight and lasting till 12 p.m. tomorrow.
- Following this, an improvement in weather conditions is expected. No major disruptions are anticipated during this period.
