Srinagar, 28th September (Buzzbytes): On Thursday, the lifeless body of a 50-year-old man was uncovered under puzzling circumstances at his residence in the Ban area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
According to locals who spoke with the Buzzbytes news agency, the individual, who was self-employed, is suspected to have taken his own life, prompting local law enforcement to promptly respond to the scene.
The deceased has been identified as Feroz Ahmad Naik (50), the son of Ghulam Nabi Naik, and was a resident of Ban in Kulgam.
Authorities, while confirming the incident, have transported the deceased’s body to a hospital for a postmortem examination. “The body will be released to the family following the fulfillment of all necessary medical and legal procedures,” stated the police.
In the meantime, a case has been registered by the police, and inquest proceedings have been initiated in connection with the incident.
