Anantnag, 18th Jan 2024:* GMC Anantnag successfully organized another Mega Health Camp under the “Ayushman Bhava” initiative at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kokernag on January 18, 2024. Headed by Dr. Irfan Gul, a team of specialist and superspecialist doctors from various clinical departments provided specialized medical care to a significant number of patients.The camp, featuring experts in Neurology, Psychiatry, Ophthalmology, OtoRhinoLaryngology, Pediatrics, Gynecology, and Surgery, not only offered free medical treatments but also aimed to educate attendees about health schemes and facilities available at GMC Anantnag under the Golden Card program.Dr. Irfan Gul, Nodal Officer of Ayushman Bhava for GMC Anantnag, collaborated with DEIC Manager Urfan Manzoor and I/C Ayushman Mitri Mr. Nadeem Ahmad, along with MS Sub-District Hospital Kokernag, Dr. Mohd Shafi, to ensure the camp’s success.Aligned with the guidance of Administrative Secretary HME, Dr. Syed Abid Rashid (IAS), and led by Principal GMC Anantnag, Dr. Prof Anjum Farhana, the camp signifies a significant step in enhancing healthcare access and awareness in remote areas, providing tertiary care medicare services.Dr. Owais H Dar, Spokesperson GMCA, expressed gratitude to CMO Anantnag, Dr. MY Zagoo, and BMO Larnoo, Dr. Mohd Shafi, for their continuous support in making these health camps successful.
