Speaking to party workers in Noorabad Kulgam, Mufti questioned the administration’s silence on the fate and whereabouts of individuals detained by agencies such as NIA, CBI, SIA, and SIU. She pressed for information on the well-being of these detainees, their location, and the court under whose authority they were held.

Mufti underscored the absence of convictions despite numerous arrests, hinting at the possibility that these individuals were detained on fabricated charges. She urged the administration to reevaluate its policies in light of this concerning reality.

Stressing that her party’s goal goes beyond acquiring power, Mufti reiterated the vision set by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to uplift Jammu and Kashmir from its challenges and secure a peaceful and dignified life for its residents.

Reflecting on her commitment to moral strength and political will during her tenure, Mufti clarified that her alliance with the BJP aimed to prevent the imposition of certain agendas. She asserted that the BJP withdrew support when it became evident that her government was determined to implement an agenda of peace and development, contrary to their expectations.

Addressing the people, Mufti urged them to unite in efforts to reclaim their rights, emphasizing that her focus is not on gaining positions but on advocating for the agenda and people of Jammu and Kashmir. The convention witnessed the presence of senior leaders, including Sartaj Madani, Waheed Parra, Manzoor Zargar, Gulzar Dar, Sheikh Mohuddin, Arshid Baba, and others.
