Srinagar, February 21: J&K Peoples Democratic Party (J&KPDP) leader Mehbooba Mufti visited the residence of Mufti Nasir ul Islam to offer her condolences on the demise of his mother. She was accompanied by District President Srinagar Ab Qayoom Bhat, Incharge Constituency Habakadal Arif Laigaroo, Ali Mohammad Baba, Mohammad Altaf, Bilal Ahmad, and others.Expressing sympathies with Mufti Nasir ul Islam, Mehbooba recalled the contributions of his mother, who played a significant role alongside her husband, the late Grand Mufti, and her son in shaping society with better religious teachings and guidance.Mehbooba Mufti also visited the residence of Farooq Nazki at Shivpora, Srinagar, to offer condolences. She acknowledged his eminent contributions to literature and broadcasting, emphasizing that his demise has left a great void in the literary circles of Kashmir.Additionally, Mehbooba Mufti visited Alochibagh to express condolences on the demise of senior Congress leader Gh Mohammad Sheikh. Late Gh Mohammad was a close associate of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. Mehbooba prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls.
