Director of Jal Jeeven Mission -II Reviews Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Arrangements in Ramban

Director of Jal Jeeven Mission -II, Ranjit Kumar, along with the Prabhari Officer for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), Ranjit Kumar, conducted a thorough inspection of Panchayats in Ramban district to review arrangements for the ongoing ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.’ The Deputy Commissioner, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, led the Yatra across 82 Panchayats, including Pingloga, Senabathi-A, Senabathi-B, and Paristan.

During the Yatra events, the Director engaged with Panchayat Raj Institutions (PRIs) and locals, gathering feedback on the implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) in Ramban district. Expressing confidence in achieving the goal to make India a developed nation by 2047, the Director commended the commitment and innovative approach of the people of District Ramban.

The Yatra focused on disseminating information about various government-sponsored schemes, including the Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, and others. The Director urged stakeholders to organize camps, share success stories, and reach out to unreached sections of society.

The Prabhari Officer highlighted the positive impact of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the holistic development of Ramban. Stalls were set up by various departments to raise awareness about their schemes, and officials took the ‘Hamaara Sankalp Viksit Bharat’ pledge.

Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary briefed the Director on the Yatra’s progress, covering multiple Panchayats in Banihal, Khari, Ramsoo, Ramban, Rajgarh, Ukhral, and Batote blocks. A district-level control room and block-level Nodal officers were established for information exchange and smooth Yatra conduct.

Local officials, including BDC Chairperson Karleep Singh, PRIs, and a significant number of locals actively participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. The Director’s visit emphasized the collaborative efforts to ensure the success of developmental initiatives in Ramban district.
