Srinagar, Dec 09 (BuzzBytes):In a targeted attack, unidentified gunmen, suspected to be terrorists, opened fire on a police officer in the Bemina area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Saturday evening. According to reliable sources at News Agency Kashmir Scroll, the victim has been identified as Hafiz Ahmad, the son of Ghulam Hassan Chat from Mathiya Bund Hamdania colony in Bemina. Ahmad has been urgently transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, and his condition is reported to be critical. In response to the incident, the entire area has been cordoned off as security forces work to apprehend the attackers. The situation is currently under investigation.
