Rubeena Akhter Extends Greetings on Mahashivratri/Herath

Rubeena Akhter, National Loktantrik Party National General Secretary and Core Committee Member, extended warm greetings to people on the occasion of Mahashivratri, also celebrated as Herath by Kashmiri Pandits. She highlighted Mahashivratri as an annual festival dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, significant in the Shivism tradition of Hinduism.
Akhter emphasized that Mahashivratri is celebrated at night, distinguishing it from other Hindu festivals celebrated during the day. She expressed appreciation for the togetherness in celebrating festivals, adding colors to the diversity of the Union Territory. Herath, a crucial festival for Kashmiri Pandits, symbolizes historical unity and love among Hindus, Sikhs, and Muslims in Jammu and Kashmir.
In her message, Rubeena Akhter conveyed her wishes for Lord Shiva to eliminate sorrow, troubles, and usher in happiness and a healthy life. She hoped that the divine glory of Lord Shiva would remind everyone of their capabilities and lead them to success.
