Srinagar, January 13: In a commendable initiative, the South Asia Centre for Peace Peoples Empowerment (SACPPE) organized an on-road awareness event at Parraypora Baghat to mark the 35th Road Safety Month. The event aimed to bolster road safety and heighten awareness within the community, aligning with their commitment to cultivating a safer and more informed society.Assistant Transport Commissioner J&K, Arif Parvez Shah, graced the occasion and honored obedient drivers. Emphasizing the paramount importance of road safety, Shah underscored that it should be a top priority for all. Syed Iqbal Rasheed SHO Sadder, addressing the gathering, urged parents to instill in children the awareness that their lives are precious and must be handled with care. This initiative reflects a collective effort to create a culture of safety and responsibility on the roads.
