Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo Conducts Thorough Review of HADP Projects Implementation

Srinagar January 16, 2024.In a significant development, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo took charge of assessing the substantial progress and accomplishments of the Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP). This comprehensive review encompassed all 29 projects and sub-projects within the program.The evaluation unfolded through the active involvement of Project Grounding & Monitoring Committees (PGMCs), each led by senior officers from the UT administration. A pivotal meeting, which included key stakeholders, featured the Principal Secretary of the Agriculture Production Department, Vice Chancellors from SKUAST K/J, MD of HADP, Deputy Commissioners, Chairpersons of PGMCs, relevant Heads of Departments (HoDs), and representatives from banking institutions.A notable aspect of the review was the participation of outstation-based officers, who seamlessly joined the discussion through video conferencing technology. This inclusive approach ensured a comprehensive overview of the HADP projects’ implementation status, fostering collaboration and effective decision-making among diverse stakeholders.The Chief Secretary’s commitment to monitoring and steering the HADP initiatives reflects a dedicated effort towards advancing holistic agriculture development in the Union Territory.
