Poonch, Dec 21(Buzzbytes):In a concerning development, terrorists launched a brazen attack on an Army vehicle in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch on Thursday. According to sources, the assailants fired upon the convoy, which was transporting jawans, as reported by the news agency PTI, quoting officials.
The targeted incident unfolded in the Thanamandi area of the district, with no immediate reports of casualties, according to PTI. Swiftly responding to the situation, additional forces have been dispatched to the scene, awaiting further details on the unfolding situation.
This occurrence follows a recent explosion within the compound of an armed police unit in the same Poonch district on Wednesday. The explosion, transpiring on the night of December 19 and 20 in the Surankote area, resulted in damage to the windows of vehicles parked nearby, as confirmed by officials.
