Handwara, January 11:Pir Nisar Ahmad, Senior Trade Union Leader and Chief Spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee (JKECC), commended Handwara Police for the successful conclusion of the Shaheed PSI Arshid Ashraf Memorials T-20 Cricket Tournament.Ahmad praised the relentless efforts of SSP Handwara, Jinab Dawood Ayoub (JKPS), Dy SP (DAR) Handwara, Dr. Majid, SDPO Handwara, Shri Satish Ji, SHO Handwara, Waseem Ahmad Shah, and all SHOs of Police District Handwara, along with Aijaz Ahmad Wani from the Police Department, for organizing a remarkable tournament despite challenging weather conditions. The tournament not only overcame the obstacles of sub-zero temperatures but also garnered enthusiastic support from participating teams.The tournament, held in memory of Shaheed PSI Arshad Ashraf, served as a tribute to police officials who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. Pir Nisar congratulated Guloora Sports Club for their outstanding victory over the equally competitive Rajwar Royals.
