Jammu and Kashmir BJP General Secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta, along with J&K Secretary and Reasi District Prabhari Arvind Gupta, addressed a public gathering at Maari B Panchayat, Reasi, as part of the party’s ongoing ‘Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyaan’ program.

Gupta lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ushering in an era of development and trust, emphasizing that Jammu and Kashmir is now receiving its due share in various projects and welfare schemes. He commended Modi’s ten-year rule for its focus on transparency, eradication of corruption, and ensuring the reach of benefits to every citizen without discrimination.

Highlighting Modi’s initiatives, Gupta praised the introduction of Direct Bank Transfer (DBT), facilitating the direct transfer of financial assistance to beneficiaries without intermediaries. He asserted that under Modi’s leadership, the common man has experienced social and economic empowerment.

Gupta addressed the attempts by opposition parties to create a false narrative on development and welfare, emphasizing that the people, armed with accessible means of communication, cannot be misled. He noted the significant attendance at both booth-level meetings and large public rallies, indicating widespread satisfaction with Modi’s development model.

Appealing to the people to convert their trust in Modi into votes, Gupta urged defeating parties that have historically taken citizens for granted. Arvind Gupta echoed these sentiments, stating that the Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyaan effectively communicates Modi government’s policies that have positively impacted various sections of society.

District President Rohit Dubey highlighted the visible development in the hilly areas, emphasizing improved road connectivity and upgraded health and education infrastructure. He credited PM Modi’s good governance for these positive changes.

The main speaker, Raghav Kesar, underscored the strengthening of grassroots democracy, enabling people to participate in decision-making for their areas. He compared the 10 years of Modi government with the 70 years of Congress and other parties’ rule, encouraging people to judge which party has truly benefitted the nation.

Kissan Morcha District President Chain Singh and Programme Incharge Adv. Pawan Dev Singh also addressed the gathering.
