Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Kavinder Gupta, strongly condemned the recent terror attack on Army vehicles in Poonch District. The attack resulted in the tragic loss of five army personnel lives and injuries to others.
In a media statement issued today, Gupta expressed condolences to the families of the brave hearts and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. He emphasized the unity of the entire nation against this cowardly act by the enemy and vowed to give a befitting reply to the terrorists and their mentors across the border.
Gupta affirmed that Pakistan’s intentions to spread unrest in Jammu and Kashmir will not succeed, stating that those responsible for the attack on the soldiers will not be spared. Terming the terrorist attack a cowardly act, he asserted that the brave soldiers of the Army are actively engaged in the ongoing search operation to trace the culprits, ensuring that they will be neutralized soon.
Highlighting the progress and development in Jammu and Kashmir, Gupta noted that the region has entered a new era, making it uncomfortable for Pakistan and its subversive elements. Despite efforts to disturb peace and tranquility, Gupta expressed confidence in the strong determination of the nation, its people, and the valorous service of the Army to defeat the ill designs of the enemies.
