Chinar Town, Bijbehara, witnessed an enthusiastic celebration of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra on December 23. Commissioner Secretary Labour and Employment, Rehana Batul, participated in the yatra, reflecting the government’s commitment to citizen welfare and transformative development.

Rehana Batul engaged with the local community, assessing the progress of various Central Government schemes in the region. She highlighted the tangible benefits of flagship initiatives like Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and Kisan Samman Nidhi. The “Meri Kahani Meri Zabani” segment featured personal stories illustrating the transformative effects of government welfare schemes.

Certificates for schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and PM Awas Yojana were handed over, emphasizing the positive changes brought about by schemes like Jal Jeevan Mission, PMeGP, and Swacch Bharat Mission. The arrival of the Viksit Bharat Rath symbolized the government’s unwavering commitment to public welfare. Commissioner Secretary administered the “Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat” pledge to officials, PRI members, students, and citizens.

Cultural programs and quizzes by local school students added vibrancy to the event, aiming to sensitize the population about the profound objectives of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Commissioner Secretary inspected stalls set up by various government departments, interacting with officers and reviewing progress under different schemes on the ground.
