In a momentous culmination, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reached its zenith in the scenic Block Achabal of Anantnag, leaving a significant impact on 27 Panchayat Halqas. Led by enthusiastic participants and representatives from various line departments, the VBSY functions were held at Panchayat Halqas Chati Singpora, Harde Turu & Issu.
Commencing on December 7, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Block Achabal unfolded a series of impactful programs in each of the 27 Panchayat Halqas. The events witnessed remarkable public participation, reflecting the community’s eagerness to engage with the government’s initiatives.
“Activities during the Yatra included the warm welcome to the special IEC Van, listening to the Prime Minister’s special message, taking the Sankalp Pledge, demonstrating drone usage for crop pesticide spraying, raising awareness about various Centrally sponsored schemes, sharing personal stories, distributing Golden Cards, Soil Health Cards, newly sanctioned Ration Cards, Ujwala Gas connections, certificates among participants, and cultural programs,” highlighted Block Development Officer Achabal, Mohd Maqbool.
The Yatra became a platform for various departments to showcase their stalls, providing essential information about the diverse Centrally Sponsored Schemes of the Government. Health and AYUSH departments went the extra mile by offering free consultations and medicines to the public.
Expressing their gratitude, the general public in all 27 Panchayat Halqas acknowledged the government’s efforts in organizing such comprehensive programs. The Yatra successfully bridged the gap between citizens and government initiatives, fostering a sense of community engagement and empowerment.
