Ramban, December 22, 2023 – Raman Kumar Kesar, Secretary in Power Development Department, spearheads the “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” in Gool block, Ramban district. The initiative, aligned with the Prime Minister’s vision, focuses on enhancing awareness about government welfare schemes and fostering socio-economic empowerment in rural communities.
Secretary Raman Kumar reaffirmed the government’s commitment to education and skill development, emphasizing the collaborative efforts required for sustainable and inclusive panchayat development. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has played a pivotal role in improving accessibility to education, health infrastructure, and promoting entrepreneurship and skill development across Jammu & Kashmir.
During the event, IEC vans covered 132 panchayats, bringing government schemes to the doorsteps of thousands. Success stories were shared by beneficiaries, highlighting tangible benefits from government welfare schemes. The event concluded with the administration of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp pledge, symbolizing a collective commitment towards progress and development in the region.
