Srinagar, Feb 24 (KNS): In a bold move, the Apni Party is set to make its mark on the political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir by contesting all five Parliamentary constituencies in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. With the polls anticipated to take place in April and May this year, the party, led by President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, expresses confidence in addressing the region’s challenges.”Apni Party is a new-born political outfit in J&K. Let the ECI complete its assessment of the security and administrative situation ahead of LS polls. The possibility of simultaneous Parliamentary and Assembly elections is also under consideration by the ECI,” added Bukhari.The ECI’s comprehensive review, scheduled for March 12 and 13, aims to evaluate the feasibility of holding Assembly elections alongside Parliamentary polls in Jammu and Kashmir.
