Buzzbytes,Hajin, Kashmir, February 08:In a poignant display of unity and condemnation, the Apni Party unit of Sonawari organized a candlelight march on Thursday in Hajin to protest against the recent surge in civilian killings in Kashmir.Led by senior party leader Imtiyaz Parray and joined by former chairman of MC Hajin, Irshad Ahmad Wani, the peaceful procession commenced from Jamia Hajin, winding its way through the streets, and culminated at the Police Station in Hajin.Chanting slogans and carrying flickering candles, the protesters expressed their resolute condemnation of the senseless violence plaguing the region. Speaking to reporters during the march, Imtiyaz Parray denounced the innocent killings as a grave injustice and called for swift action to ensure justice for the victims and their families.”The propaganda behind these killings aims to disrupt communal harmony in Kashmir, but it will fail as the people are fully united now,” Parray stated emphatically.The candlelight march served as both a poignant remembrance of the lives lost and a fervent call for justice and peace in the strife-torn region.
