The Committee on Viksit Bharat@2047 at Government College for Women (GCW) Udhampur organized a vibrant Nukkad Natak on “Viksit Bharat@2047- Vision for India” at the college Vatika. Under the patronage of Principal Prof. Anjali Mahajan and overall convenorship of Dr. Sanjeet Kaur, the event aimed to engage students in envisioning India’s growth.

Prof. Anjali Mahajan motivated students to actively participate, emphasizing their role in economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability, and good governance. Prof. Pooja Bharti, in the welcome address, highlighted key aspects of the Viksit Bharat@2047 program, urging students to register and participate on the my.gov.in portal through online mode.

Students from the music department contributed to the Nukkad Natak, conveying a message of unity among physical, mental, and material aspects that can lead India to a developed nation by 2047.

The event received the presence of Committee members Dr. Meena Gupta from the English Department, Prof. Anita Gupta from the Zoology Department, and Prof. Pooja Bharti from the Geography department. Prof. Yash Kumar from the Music department monitored the proceedings, capturing visuals of the impactful performance witnessed by approximately 90 students.

Dr. Meena Gupta expressed gratitude through a vote of thanks to all attendees, Committee members, and guests for their valuable contributions to the event. Senior faculty members, including Dr. Shivani Suri Verma, Dr. Meena Gupta, Prof. Pooja Bharti, Prof. Yash Kumar, along with a large number of students, were present at the occasion.
