Jammu, December 18 – Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Dr. Nirmal Singh, conducted a public darbar at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, where he actively listened to the grievances of the people. Joined by BJP Vice-President Anuradha Charak and Secretary Arvind Gupta, Dr. Nirmal Singh expressed the sentiment that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are eager to strengthen the BJP in the region by supporting and favoring the party in future elections.

During the public darbar, Dr. Nirmal Singh highlighted the dissatisfaction of the people with the past rule of Congress, NC, and PDP, emphasizing the false promises and misleading slogans that had left the residents disheartened. He contrasted this with the positive changes brought about by the BJP under Prime Minister Narendra Modi since 2014, with numerous development projects and welfare schemes positively impacting the lives of the people in the UT.

Anuradha Charak noted the increasing participation of women in voicing their grievances, assuring that every woman’s concern is heard patiently, and efforts are made to ensure justice and resolution.

Arvind Gupta highlighted the heavy rush of people from various regions of the UT attending the public darbar on all working days. Grievances related to different departments were addressed by the BJP leaders, who committed to taking up each issue at the appropriate platform for swift resolution.

People from various areas, including Bahu Fort, Samba, Nanak Nagar, Doda, Kishtwar, Banihal, Nud, Budgam, Srinagar, Baramulla, Poonch, and more approached the party leaders with grievances related to SRO 43, electric poles, road upgradation, installation of transformers, anganwadi centers, health department issues, construction of community halls, release of salary, etc. Dr. Nirmal Singh and other leaders promised to address these grievances by taking them up with the relevant authorities for early resolution.
