DSGI Vishal Sharma, representing the ED, argued during the hearing that the case primarily revolves around the consideration of a bail application pending investigation by the Enforcement Directorate. He emphasized that both this court and the Special Judge Anticorruption, CBI Cases, Jammu, have been designated as Special Courts under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), granting them jurisdiction over relevant cases.

“However, the instant case is not related to taking cognizance of offenses under PMLA, as a complaint is yet to be filed,” Sharma further explained.

After listening to the arguments presented by DSGI Vishal Sharma, Justice Rajnesh Oswal issued a notice to Lal Singh, who is also the supremo of the Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan Party. The court’s order specified that any decision made by the trial court regarding interim bail will be subject to the final outcome of the petition.
