Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of both states on this significant occasion.Expressing prayers for the health, happiness, and prosperity of the people, the Lt Governor emphasized that the celebration strengthens the socio-economic and cultural ties between Jammu Kashmir and the North Eastern states.Highlighting Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram as symbols of India’s rich cultural heritage, he acknowledged their contributions to literature, folk art, festivals, sports, and handicrafts, reflecting the unity in diversity of the nation.The Lt Governor praised Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for addressing development gaps and aligning the aspirations of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram with the nation’s goals. He paid homage to the states’ great personalities, expressing confidence in the younger generation’s role in realizing the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.Special invitees included security forces personnel and students from Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram residing in J&K.
