Kulgam, December 31(Buzzbytes):In a dedicated effort to strengthen ties between the police force and the public, Kulgam District Police orchestrated Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meetings at Police Station Manzgam, Police Station Yaripora, and Police Post Frisal.

Chaired by respective jurisdictional officers, these gatherings brought together esteemed citizens from Manzgam, Kanjikullah, Badroo, Frisal, Chinigam, and neighboring areas. The discussions during these meetings delved into various pressing issues affecting the community, ranging from combating drug abuse and food adulteration to addressing traffic congestion and shortages of drinking water.

The officers leading the discussions patiently listened to the concerns raised by attendees, assuring them that issues falling under other departments would be promptly taken up with the relevant officers for swift resolution. Moreover, concerns directly related to the police department were pledged to be addressed as a top priority.

Expressing the significance of such engagements, the chairing officers emphasized that these meetings serve as a platform to gather suggestions and garner support from the community, ultimately contributing to more effective policing. Grateful for the active participation and valuable suggestions from the citizens, the officers extended their thanks during the proceedings.

Participants were encouraged to collaborate with the police in maintaining law and order in their areas. Additionally, citizens were urged to identify and report any anti-national or anti-social elements that pose a threat to the peaceful environment.
