Law and Order Improves in Kashmir Despite Challenges: DGP RR Swain

Buzzbytes, Srinagar, Jan 23: In a press conference held in Jammu on Saturday, Director General of Police (DGP) for Jammu and Kashmir, R.R. Swain, highlighted significant advancements in the region’s overall law and order situation, despite ongoing challenges posed by infiltrating terrorists from Pakistan.During the second rural outreach event in south Kashmir, DGP Swain commended the effective control achieved in the security landscape, attributing it to the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies. He acknowledged the persistent threat presented by a handful of terrorists crossing the border but expressed optimism, citing that local youth are not aligning with these disruptive elements.”Our youth are not involved with them. While a few individuals may support these terrorists, the majority stand against them, indicating that the situation is under control,” stated DGP Swain. The Director General reassured the public that despite challenges, law enforcement agencies are making strides in maintaining and enhancing the safety and security of the region.
