Lt Governor Manoj Sinha Unveils ‘Future Ready Governance’ Model at ‘Sushasan Mahotsav 2024’ in New Delhi

NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 10: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha took center stage at the ‘Sushasan Mahotsav 2024’ organized by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini in New Delhi, shedding light on Jammu and Kashmir’s transformative journey from misgovernance to good governance under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi after the abrogation of Article 370.In his address, Lt Governor Sinha emphasized that good governance is paramount to a nation’s progress and commended the mantra of ‘Citizen-First’ advocated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He detailed the emergence of J&K’s innovative model of ‘Future Ready Governance,’ describing it as future-driven, tech-assisted, and human-centric.The Lt Governor elucidated the conceptual framework that underpins J&K’s ‘Future Ready Governance,’ emphasizing the integration of three key elements: being future-driven, tech-assisted, and human-centric. Pilot projects have already been initiated, serving as proofs of concept and models to communicate the innovative ideas embedded in the framework.Concurrently, the administration is establishing adaptive and resilient systems, enhancing organizational capacity to deliver precise and effective services to every citizen. Lt Governor Sinha underscored that the human-centric element of ‘Future-Ready Governance’ aims to empower governmental employees as instruments of transformation and involves citizens as partners in aligning priorities with their needs and aspirations.In a special session on the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, Lt Governor Sinha shared the administration’s vision and reforms to improve policy performance and address future challenges. ‘Future Ready Governance’ is not a theoretical concept but the beginning of a transformative journey impacting the lives of every resident in Jammu & Kashmir.The Lt Governor affirmed the administration’s commitment to developing “Future-Driven” strategies and exploring scientific tools like Artificial Intelligence and Big Data for evidence-based future scenarios. Additionally, he proposed the establishment of a “Centre for New Age Governance” (CNAG) to provide knowledge inputs and capacity-building support.In closing, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha paid homage to notable figures including Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Shri Rambhau Mhalgi, acknowledging their significant contributions to nation-building. The event was attended by prominent personalities from diverse fields and members of Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini organization.
