The Department of Information, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, released details of the Republic Day Celebration 2024, set to take place at MA Stadium. Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, chaired a comprehensive review meeting attended by key officials from various departments, including DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua, Shakti Pathak, and Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Sachin Kumar Vaishya.
The focus of the meeting was on meticulous arrangements for the event, covering repair works, whitewashing, parking facilities, sanitation, decoration, and security. Each department was tasked with specific responsibilities, and nodal officers were appointed to coordinate preparations for the Republic Day Parade-2024. Special emphasis was placed on cultural activities, with a focus on celebrating the cultural heritage, patriotic ethos, and regional diversity.
To ensure seamless preparations, a joint control room was proposed, aimed at facilitating a hassle-free celebration of Republic Day 2024. The event promises to be a grand showcase of national pride and unity, featuring diverse cultural elements that reflect the rich heritage of the region.
