Srinagar, January 13, 2024:A series of events unfolded in Jammu and Kashmir by National Confrance 1. YNC Functionaries Meeting Chaired by Salman Ali Sagar: Jammu and Kashmir Youth National Conference Provincial President, Salman Ali Sagar, presided over a meeting of YNC provincial members, Zone Presidents, and District Presidents at the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subah. Discussions encompassed upcoming YNC activities and various youth-oriented issues. Functionaries apprised Salman Ali Sagar of concerns affecting youth across South, North, and Central Kashmir Districts. Sagar emphasized the inseparable connection between YNC and the party, acknowledging its historical role as a platform for emerging party leaders. He urged YNC members to address people’s concerns and remain connected with the youth at different levels.2. NC Nominates Zonal and District Budgam Office Bearers: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference appointed Saif-u-din Bhat as Vice President JKNC Central Zone and Ghulam Nabi Bhat as District President Budgam. These appointments were made by the Party leadership, including Party President, Vice President, General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, and Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani. Good wishes were extended to the newly appointed office bearers.3. Condolences for the Demise of Farooq Bazaz: Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah expressed condolences on the demise of former Superintendent of Police Muhammad Farooq Bazaz. Ali Muhammad Sagar, along with other party functionaries, visited the bereaved family to offer condolences and prayers for peace to the departed. Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, and others also extended heartfelt condolences.4. Glowing Tributes to Mirwaiz Yasin Hamdani: Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah paid glowing tributes to Mirwaiz Moulana Yasin Hamdani on his 31st death anniversary. Dr. Farooq Abdullah remembered his notable contributions to the socio-political upliftment of Kashmiris, praising him as a scholar and orator. Omar Abdullah acknowledged Mirwaiz Yasin Hamdani’s efforts for peace, brotherhood, and equality. General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, and others also paid glowing tributes to the late Mirwaiz.
