Srinagar, November 19: The Accountant General Office in Srinagar initiated the celebration of Audit Week with a vibrant marathon and a dedicated cleanliness drive, showcasing its commitment to the occasion.
The marathon, stretching from Dalgate to SKICC/Centaur Hotel, was inaugurated early in the morning by PAG Pramod Kumar and DAG Inabat Khaliq. The event witnessed the presence of distinguished personalities such as esteemed environmentalist Manzoor Wangnoo, renowned footballer Ishfaq Ahmed, and DFO Ghazala Abdullah, alongside Baby Jannat.
Following the marathon, participants enthusiastically engaged in a Dal Lake cleaning initiative, sending a resounding message of environmental consciousness and the importance of maintaining cleanliness.
As the Audit Week unfolds, a series of diverse activities are planned, including a blood donation drive, a Rangoli competition, an interactive program with university students at SKUAST-K, various sports events, quizzes, painting competitions, and a cultural extravaganza scheduled for the culminating day on November 25.
This multifaceted approach aims to promote not only professional excellence but also social responsibility, fostering a strong sense of community and holistic well-being throughout the Audit Week celebrations.
