Senior Citizens Appreciated CRPF about such initiatives.

Ganderbal oct, 01 :- The CRPF Camp margund of C/118 Battlion conducted a cleanliness drive under Swachh Bharat abhiyan at Degree college Kangan of Ganderbal district. In this drive Company Commander of margund CRPF camp and others officials degree college kangan was present in this cleanliness drive.
The campaign has been started with an awareness lecture to make the villagers and students aware about plastic free zone, waste disposal management and to motivate locals to adopt cleanliness measures. The local actively participated in cleanliness drive and contributed whole heartedly towards the social cause.
The students were educated about the benefits of cleanliness, prevention of various communicable diseases and the threat of epidemic due to unhealthy and unhygienic environment. Students were encouraged to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in their homes and surrounding areas. Students took a vow to throw garbage at nominated places only and keep their surrounding area clean.
Meanwhile the locals paid very postive response towards this effort of CRPF Camp margund of C/118 Battalion.
