Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister, expressed confidence that the Modi government’s strategic initiatives are efficiently working towards eradicating terrorism from the soil of Jammu and Kashmir. In a press release issued on Saturday, Gupta highlighted the comprehensive strategy devised by the government to combat terrorism, emphasizing that it is yielding positive results.
Referring to Home Minister Amit Shah’s statement about the security forces establishing domination in J&K, Gupta commended the progress made in the region. He noted that while certain problematic elements are still active, the Modi government has effective plans in motion to dismantle the terror ecosystem in the days to come.
Gupta endorsed the Modi government’s policy in J&K, ruling out dialogue with Pakistan. He asserted that the government aims to make the region the most peaceful place in the country, emphasizing the high morale of security forces. Gupta attributed the consistency in eliminating terrorists to the effective and proactive intelligence network developed by the BJP government.
He emphasized that encounters in J&K are a result of the intelligence network’s efficacy, showcasing the relentless efforts to eliminate or apprehend individuals involved in terrorism. Gupta expressed confidence that the government will continue its efforts until the last person associated with terrorism is either eliminated or brought to justice.
