Awantipora, Feb 2: A two-day workshop focusing on the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, organized by Awantipora Police in collaboration with the Anti-Narcotics Task Force of Jammu and Kashmir (ANTF J&K) and the Prosecution Department, concluded at District Police Lines Awantipora.The workshop aimed to enhance the investigative skills of Police Officers, with key speakers including Najeeb Hussain Nahvi (Chief Prosecuting Officer/Public Prosecutor), Rumais Rasool (Assistant Public Prosecutor Special Mobile Magistrate Awantipora), Shri Syed Mudasir (Inspector ANTF), Shri Meheraj Ud Din (Inspector ANTF), and Shri Gowher Ali (Sub Inspector ANTF). Attendees included SDPOs, SHOs, IC PPs, and other investigating officers of District Police Awantipora.The main focus was on refining investigative skills, updating knowledge with the latest techniques, and adopting standard operating procedures during NDPS Act cases. Presentations covered various aspects of the NDPS Act, PITNDPS, and Financial Investigations. SSP Awantipora, Shri Ajaz Ahmed Zargar, presented mementos to the guest speakers as a token of gratitude at the workshop’s conclusion.
