Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, and Member of Parliament from Srinagar, Omar Abdullah, have expressed deep sorrow over the demise of J&K Police Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani. The senior leaders conveyed their condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family.

Dr. Farooq Abdullah, in his message, condemned the violence that led to the tragic incident and emphasized that such abominable acts only leave behind a trail of pain and misery. He prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.

Omar Abdullah, in his condolence message, acknowledged the bravery of Sub-Inspector Masroor Ahmed Wani, who was injured in a militant attack while playing cricket with boys in his neighborhood. He extended condolences to the family and colleagues of the deceased, praying for Allah to grant him a place in Jannat.

Omar Abdullah, along with a party delegation, visited the Narwara locality in Shahar-e-Khas to offer condolences to the family of Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani. The delegation included party treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, and Political Advisors to the President and Vice President.
